VI, 2917;allir leggjast þeir ok spekjast firir alls-valdanda guðs krapti várir andskotarBarl. 19721; þá tók Flovent at spekja(dvs. berolige) menn sína Flov. 13251. 2) gjøre vis, begave med Visdom; öllengla fylki ero fyld af himneskri spekiok kallask þó þeir fyllendr speki, ermest ero spaktir af guði Hom. 18026.
