andstefja, v. svare, falde ind med sit Svar (responsorium), naar en anden har sagteller sunget noget, = andstefna, and-svara (jvf stefja 2); sá siðr er þar til,at einn segir salm en aðrir heyra eðaandstefja Heilag. II, 4731. Jvf. and-stefna. Et tilsvarende Subst. andstefgjenkjendes i det anstö, som med Betyd-ningen af Omkvæd endnu forekommer iFolkesproget efter Urskogs Beskrivelse af a. Heyerdahl (Kristiania 1882) S.1597.
