baugreið, f. det Tilsyn som Kongens Om-budsmand havde at føre med Alfarvejene,for at disses tilbørlige Bredde ikke skuldevorde indskrænket, og som beskrives saa-ledes: mæla skal spjótskapt 8 alna langt ok gera til henkr 2 af viðjum,hengja aðra á odd en aðra á skapt -- hann (dvs. bóndi nefndr) skal stígaá hestbak ok leggja spjótskapt fyrirsik um þvert hestbak ok ríða at þjóð-veg miðjum, liggr ertog við silfrs atgjalda konungi við tré hvert er hönktekr af skapti Landsl. 7, 46.
