dæsa, v. (st) 1) blæse og derved tilkjende-give sin Overseen eller Ringeagt; sögðu,at þeir K. ok Ó. mundu þar koma umnóttina með ófriði, en s. dæsti við okkvað slíkt ekki gegna mundu Bp. I,5565. 2) dæsast, v. r. blive saa ildemedtagen, berørt (af Uveir o. desl.) ,at en er udsat for at forkomme; hafúkyrrist, bárur styrkjast - - menndæsask Kgs. 539; gestr gangandi afgötu kom, drykks of þurfi, hinn dæstimaðr Sól. 3.
