(tók) 1) forgribe sig og der- ved forspilde, forbryde noget (e-u): engiskal fyrir öðrum taka ertog eða ertogmeira -, en ef hann lætr af (dvs. giverSlip derpaa, naar han opfordres dertil),þá hefir hann fyrirtekit sókn sínni (dvs. sinRet til ved Dom at søge hvad han tilegnede sig ved Selvtægt) Frost. 10, 14; þorðuþeir eigi at brjóta steinþróna ok ugðu,at þeir mundu fyrirtaka Heilag.
