Klo af den Fugl, som kal- des gambr, gammr; hvor Ordet fore-kommer i Testamenter, Skifter eller In-ventariefortegnelser, synes derved at være ment et Drikkehorn (gambrshorn StrømsBeskriv. over Søndmør S. 1579 jvf Ny Samling af Norske Vidensk. Selsk. Skrifter I (1784), 16413), som foran var forsynet med 2 Fødder, i Form af gambrs-kló, af hvilket Slags Drikkehorn flere endnu ere opbevarede (jvf E. OlafsonsReise gjennem Island S. 5223); eitthorn sylfuerbúit ok ein silfrbúinkamberskló ok meder lítit drykkju-horn DN. IV, 45742; skurn, gambrsklóok sverð DN.
