grimmliga, adv. 1) med Forbittrelse, Vrede eller Fiendskab; þeir grimmast geysimjök, því at þeim þikkir, sem hannkenni ekki -, svá gjöra þeir síðladags sem í fyrra sinn gr. ógnandi Mar. 56324; brá sverði ok reiddi at honumgr. Fm. VII, 15724. 2) i høi Grad, særdeles meget, = greypiliga: grenjagr. Bp. I, 4211; gráta gr. Sig. 3, 25;nema ek verða svá gr. yfirkominn, atmér þá sé annars hugar, en nú er Fm. X, 22126; engi man jafngrimmliga fráguði rekinn sem ek Mar. 682.
