hrúðrkarl, m. et Slags Skjældyr (Cirripe-dia sessilia eller Balaner) som sættersig paa og dækker den Del af Strand-klipperne, som ligge mellem høieste oglaveste Vandstand, saaledes at den faar et skurvet Udseende (se Olafsens Reise i Island S. 1008 fg); nasar hans vórusem á apynju, en hörund sem hrúðr-kall Partalop. 338.
