III, 37828 under hýrr);Þ. tók þessu vel ok hýrðist skjótt íviðbragði Flóam. 34 (18421). 2) finde Behag i noget (við e-t), lade noget gjøresaadant Indtryk paa sig, at man der-ved bliver blid; er honum (nl. rétt-látum manni) þat mikit efni til hjarta-ligs stríðs ok freistni, at hann hýristvið orðlof manna ok drambi meðoffraðar synd Mar. 1697; hón hýrðistvið engan lut þann, er guði var í mótiMar. 615; meðan sá fnjóskr eða kveyk-ing var með Marió -, at hón máttimisgera, ef hón hefði við hýrzt eðasamþykkzt Mar. 595.
