Ordeter sandsynligvis det lat. caza, cazia,som efter Henschels Du Cange II, 622 fgskal være "vasis genus", men brugt lige-som kaldel (se dette Ord) om Maden iKarret, = kassa dvs. (efter Bjørn Hal-dorsen) "Grød af Melk og Vand, somde fastende spiste en Gang om Dagen";forkommer som Øgenavn Ketill k.
