leppr, m. lidet Stykke, liden Del: 1) Haar-lok; hann hafði ljósan lepp í hári sínuhinum vinstra megin Hrafnk. 1317; hannskar lepp or hári þess manns Herv.2291 (3285); fá mér leppa tvá or háriþínu Nj. 78 (1164); miðla mér í mótlepp or magaskeggi þínu Fm. VI, 14122;tók einn lepp or tagli hans til sýnisum mikilleika hestsins Nornag. 6715(jvf Flat. I, 35421). 2) Klædeslap (jvftöturr); var nú at sjá - brúnn kyrtillhlaðbúinn sem leppr rotinn Bp. II, 566;sumir reyttu ok rifu af honum þá hinavonda leppa, sem hann hafði (dvs. variført, da han nemlig var búinn fátœkligasem staf karl) Flat.
