lok, n. som det synes et Slags Væxt, derhar sit egentlige Hjem i Skoven, menogsaa kan trænge sig ind og sprede sigover Ager og Eng til Skade for, til Un-derkuelse, Fortrængsel af de der hjemme-hørende Væxter (gsv. lok, luk Schlyter 401 b; Bregne? jvf Aasen 45746); alltfolk féll þar eðr flýði, en Nórr ok hansmenn géngu yfir sem lok yfir akraFlat. I, 2204 (Orkn. 224); vóru þar allirmenn hræddir við þá, ok géngu þeireinir yfir allt sem lok yfir akra Fbr.248.
