(tt) 1) bevæge til Ydmyghed,Sagtmodighed (jvf mjúklátr 2); A. hafðiþá ok ekki skaplyndi til at mjúklætasik við konung um þetta mál Eg. 71(17026). 2) bevæge til Mildhed, Lem-fældighed (jvf mjúklátr 3); mjúklætitþér várn herra, at hann mái af meðsínni líkn (= lat. indulgentia) mínarsektir ok syndir Heilag. II, 51810 jvf 25(jvf Heilag. II, 1542 under mjúkr 2).
