Stj. 42025 (Ruth 1, 8). 2) Moderkloster, Kloster hvorfra de Munkeeller Nonner ere udgangne, med hvilkenye Klostre som Filialer af samme eregrundede; þetta klaustr átti sér móður-hús svá sem grámunka regula býðr,ok var þar ábóti fyrir ok átti sá kosn-ing með brœðrum Mar. 11128; Calixtuspáfi - plantaði fyrstr þann lifnað, erOrdo Cisterciensis heitir, þat klaustrliggr undir móðurhús þat, er Bonavallisheitir Post. 70312; Clarevallis skal veramóðurhús yfir öllum klaustrum samalifnaðar Thom. 3946; þat (nl. klaustr)var móðurhús yfir svá mörgum munk-lífum, sem þagat lágu undir Æf. 269.
