návistarmaðr, m. 1) Person som er eller har været tilstede i Nærheden; sá skalbani vera, er návistarmenn bera vitnium, ok þau segja á hendr Landsl. 4, 101. 2) Nabo? nú finnr maðr fé sítt þjóf-stolit ok fylgir eigi þjófr, þá skal hannhafa við návistarmenn sína, er hanntekr fé sítt Landsl. 9, 72. 3) Person som hører til ens nærmeste Omgivelse,= návistumaðr; sem þeir verða meirinávistarmenn konungs at þjónostu okyfirlæti en aðrir menn Kgs. 6330.
