pardun, m. Tilgivelse, Forladelse, Aflad (fr. pardon). Ann. 2247; hón skyldiengan pardun taka fyrir sína föstu fyrr,en hón væri leyst af þeim syndom ok- Æf. 303; at þeir megi því heldrhluttakarar verða - - þeirra stórraafgipta ok parduna, sem páfarnir hafagefit öllum þeirra hjalpara Dn. VIII,76 (9423); at þeir megi svá leysa sikviðr sínar syndir ok óðlast ok hlutta-karar verða þess mikla afláts ok ágætaparduns, sem þar liggr viðr Dn. VIII,76 (9539).
