Primsignelse, = prímsign-ing; ef barn (som er hjemmedøbt) lifirsíðan, þá komi þeir, er skírðu, til prestssem fyrst með því, ok ef prestr profarþat eptir heilagrar kirkju skipan rétt-liga skírt vera, þá leiði prestr þat þegarí kirkju útan prímsignan ok leggi oleumsanctum á brjóst ok sine interrogationeo. s. v. Stat. 2519; guðsifjar 3: sá erheldr manni undir prímsignan (prím-signing Grg. I, 15813) eða undir skírneða undir biskups hönd Grág. 31822;guðsifjar 3 eigu ór dómi at rísa, efannartveggi hefir haldit öðrum undirprímsignan eða undir vatn eða undirbiskups hönd Grg.
