(nd) undertrykke, tvinge; at mótiflutningi þeirra, sem fyrir honum sönn-uðu, at biskupar pyndi um rétt framok móti fornum vanda, ritaði hann svá,at hann fyrirbauð neinum leikmönnumat ganga undir neina pynding ok eigitil einnar vaðmáls alnar Bp.
