ránfengi, n. hvad nogen har faaet tilrane sig, erhverve sig ved Uretfærdighed, =rán 3 (jvf fengi); sýndi úvinr allsmannkyns (dvs. fjándinn) berliga í slík-um hlutum, hversu nauðigr hann létlaust sítt ránfengi, þat er at skiljaallan þann lýð, er hann hafði hertekinní villuböndum sínna bölvaðra skurgoðaFlat. I, 4218; sumir hrósa sér af rán-fenginu sem af sínum sigri Pr. 1262.
