Hus hvori en Person hen- sættes for der at holdes i Forvaringindtil hans Sag kan blive undersøgt (jvfrannsak 2); ef maðr verðr taksettr ígarði manns, fœri húsbóndi hans takmeð honum eptir lögum þangat, semstefnt var; en ef hann vil eigi varða,fœri þann mann til gjalkyra, þá setigjalkyri hann í rannsakshús til ráðsum morguninn Byl. 6, 78 jvf 7, 139. 15;er hann (nl. gjalkyri) ok skyldr at látablása til skipdráttar ok kasta þeim ímyrkvastofu, er þat heyrir, eða í rann-sakshús Byl. 9, 246 (S. 28618).
