Vei paa hvilken man færdes useet, ubemærket ligesom naar man skjuler sig bag et Væggetæppe (se Str. 7727 un- der refill; jvf hin neðri leið, hit neðra,under neðri); Gylfi sá mann í hallar-durum -; sá spurði hann fyrr at nafni,hann nefndist gangleri ok kominn afrefilstigum SE. I, 3413 fg (jvf fór meðlaun S. 3217). Samme Betydning synes Ordet at have Flat. I, 21415. Den Fm.XII, 701 fgg og Lex. poet. 649a under refill givne Forklaring synes derimod lidet acceptabel og Henvisningen til Lex.mythol. S. 781 synes feilagtig.
