reiðr, adj. 1) saadan som staar til ens Raa- dighed, er ham til reiðu; pilagrimum séþar (nl. i det der opførte bœnahús) reittmesso hafa í váro lofi þá, (er) þeirkoma eigi inn í kirkjuna DN. I, 54511(EJb. 46316). 2) rede, som betales i eller med klingende Mynt; þegar sem þeir(nl. stallarar konungs) hafa eigi sýsluaf honum, þá skolu þeir taka í reiðumpeningum (&vl í reiðupeningum) 15merkr af konungs garði Hirðskrá 492.
