I, 4598. 3) Foretagende, Be- stræbelse hvormed man søger at faa ud-rettet noget, fremmet en Sag (jvf reka(v.) 8); Þ. - ok synir hennar létu íllayfir þessu verki ok kváðu þetta mestaúhapp ok kváðust ætla hér mundumiklir eptirmálsmenn verða ok mikilrek at gjör Þiðr. 372 (25028).
