róðukross, m. Crucifix, Billede af denkorsfæstede Kristus. DI. II, 842; hannþóttist vera á bœn fyrir einum miklumróðukrossi, ok því næst þótti honumlíkneskit á krossinum hneigjast at sérok - Bp. I, 17326; þá bar Þangbrandrróðukross fyrir skjöldinn Nj. 102 (1582);skrýddist biskup öllum messuskrúða okgékk fram í stafn á konungsskipinu,lét hann þar setja upp róðukross oktendra fyrir kerti ok bar reykelsi o. s. v.Flat.
