Pl.röggvar) lange Haar, lang Uld (Folkespr. og sv. ragg Aasen 57738; Rietz 520b58 fg),= lagðr; skikkjur ero þær á Íslandi,er feldir heita, er þat ýmist kallat áfeldinum röggr eða lagðr Krók. 3616;vararfeldr fyrir 2 aura sá, er fjögurraþumalalna er langr en 2 breiðr, 13röggvar um þveran fell (dvs. feld) GrG.II, 19217; þessi hekla var svá um búk-inn allt niðr í fald, at hón var gjörá mynd sem olpa eðr loðkápa, þá erönnur rögg féll ofan fyrir aðra, enþessar röggvar vóru af skeljum o. s. v.MaG.* 638.
