rúmt, adv. (eg. Akk. Sing. N. af Adj. rúmr) 1) rummeligen, saaledes at der ikke ertrangt, men godt Rum; skipin lágurúmt í höfninni Fld. II, 5222 (Örv. 554). 2) rummeligt, ikke knapt regnet, hellermere og ikke mindre end; móðir hennarvar gipt til Aurdals rúmt fyrir halfansetta tig vetra dvs. for fem og femti Vintre eller heller vel saa lang Tid siden, DN.I, 16818; hann hefir tekit lík Þórðarbratts - ok haldit þí rúmt fimtigi,sem óheyriligr lutr er at firra nokornkristinn mann sínum heilagum legstaðum jamlangan tíma DN. IV, 141 (s.13327).
