rýndr, adj. dygtig i Udøvelse af Trolddom; hann gékk ok næst Rögnvaldi um allaríþróttir, en eina íþrótt hafði hann umfram aðra menn í Saxlandi, hann errýndr svá, at þat er ofrefli Mag. 826 (jvfeina íþrótt hafði hann um fram aðramenn í Saxlandi, sú kallast nigro-mantia, því at svó kunni hann mikit írúnum ok kuklaraskap, at hann gjörðimargs konar sjónhverfingar, svá atöngvir undirstóðu hans leika Mag.*3721).
