sigrsteinn, m. kemr honum í hug, atheima liggr sigrsteinn hans; en þat varí þann tíma, at konungar áttu sumirstein þann, er sú var nattúra, at hverrfékk sigr, er hafði á sér, -; en þatveit ek eigi, hvárt þat var af nattúrusjalfs steinsins eða olli átrúnaðr sá, erþeir hafðo á steininum Didr. 832 fgg jvfþat var einn dag, at Þórir spyrr bónda-dóttur, hvat valda mundi, at Grímr yrðiekki sigraðr; hún segir, at steinn sástœði framan í hjalminum, at því ylli,at hann má eigi sigrast á, meðan stein-inum verðr eigi af honum náð o. s. v.Fld.
