skerjóttr, adj. 1) klippefuld, fuld af sker 1;sú ey var skerjótt ok ekki gras í oklítill skógr Heilag. I, 27424. 2) op- fyldt med Skjær (sker 2); væntu þeirmenn, er á landi vóru, Þórði þá land-töku, þvíat þá var af farit þat, semskerjóttast var dvs. man var komne overdet Stykke, som var mest fuldt af Skjær, Laxd. 35 (9312); lítlu síðarr kom á veðrmikit ok stormr -, en skerjótt varmjök við landit Mar. 9422; einn dagáttu þeir at sigla þar, er skerjótt varmjök Mar. 9728; þar var, er þeir kómuat, mjök skerjótt Sturl. I, 30213.
