slysalaust, adv. uden at man gjør eller vederfares noget, hvormed man er ildefaren; sagði Þorbjörn, at hann var ennkominn at vitja þeirra mála, ef Grettirvildi á burt fara, ok kvazt enn leggjaí léttan stað um fémissu ok þarvist,ef þeir skildi slysalaust Grett. 17522;þökkuðu þeir Þorsteins hjástöðu, atþeim hefði slysalaust farit Fm. III, 18716.
