(kt) paa en nærgaaende og uan- stændig Maade vise sig begjærlig efternoget, søge at komme i Besiddelse afnoget (til e-s, eptir e-u); engi býðr þarok fram mútur eða gjafir, sem þarverðr gört, er þeir sitja, er til slíkrahluta sníkja Barl. 3233; með 3 háttumverða rangir dómar - elligr til fé-girndar, þar sem maðr sníkir til nökk-urrar mútu Landsl. 4, 17 (636); ei gjörðusvá hinir fyrri konungar, at þeir létimik þurfa at sníkja svá lengi eptirþeirri ölmusu Mag.* 673.
