snildarmál, n. hvad der er udtalt med málsnild; þótt vér megim eigi skiljamegn guðligra ritninga, þá hræðastþó ok hverfa ósýniligir fjándr, þvíatþeir skilja gœzku guðs orðs ok megueigi standast snildarmál ins helga anda(= lat. eloquia spiritus sancti), er talathefir fyrir prophetana eða aðra guðsþræla Heilag. II, 5513. 23.
