Søgsmaalskvid (se kviðr);ef maðr þarf bjargkviðo þar, er búa-kviðr hefir borit áðr á hann, þá skalhann kveðja 5 búa í þann kvið, er áðrhefir borit á hann, þótt þá hafi 9 búarborit á hann sóknarkviðinn Grg. I, 6518;þar er sœkjandi skal kveðja þess kviðar,hvárt hann á fé eða fœri til at fœraómaga fram, þá skal hann kvatt hafa,áðr dómr fari út, er þat sóknarkviðrGrg. II, 256 (Grág. 1202).
