sólbyrði, n. = sólborð; þá sneri skipinuí móti bárunni, ok er þeir vóro í brjóstihennar, þá hrundi hón öll, þar semþeir mátto sjá, nema firir stafninum,ok í því gékk inn á bæði borð, ok tókfrá sólbyrðin Bp. I, 48412; hón slær afsólbyrðin ok hvat laust var á bulkanumaptr í austr Bp. II, 5030.
