(jvf sparr, n., spari) 1) Pind, der stillet med Enderne mod tvende Tingeller Dele af den samme Gjenstand tjenertil at holde, spile dem ud fra hinanden; ef höfuð er höggvit af ok sett á garð-staur eða sparri í munn Gul. 2411; jvfgómsparri. 2) Tømmerstok, ogsaa coll. = sperra; hann kom til skipper m. meðeen sparre flota upa sancti Laurenciidagh o. s. v. Dn. III, 87110 fgg.
