Kr. reisirupp sterkliga bundna ok leysir fótstokkaðra Post. 57323; at þú skalt -engin mann fanga, stokka eðr í hegtilsekoma NL. IV, 43118. 2) tømre, lægge Stok paa Stok; var þar brunnr í miðjuok um búit forkunnar vel, stokkaðrumbergis ok luktr með læstri hurðÆf. 912. 3) stokka hátt, lágt dvs. faa, skaffe sig et anseeligt, ringe Giftermaal;hann vil, at hann fái honum kvánfangok biði til handa honum Ragnhildardóttur Þórolfs bónda; faðir hans svarar,at hann vil hátt stokka (stræbe høit)Flat.
