strandvarpa, f. Not, Vad til at kaste med langs Stranden for deri at fange Fisk; þat er einn dag, at konungs menn róaá sjó með strandvarpo at fá grœnafiska til konungs borðs; ok þeir kastanetjom sínom ok drógo at landi, okverðr svá þung strandvarpan, at varlafá þeir flutt Didr. 7020.
