stropi, m. hvad der skvættes, sprøites, med Fart drives saaledes ud gjennem en Aab-ning, at det spredes i en større Omkreds. Clar. 734, se under strjúka 8. Med dette Ord (strupi) betegnes endnu flere helstmindre Fossefald saavel som Gaarde,hvilke deraf have faaet sit Navn, f. Ex.et lidet skvættende Fald i Sireaaen, ligeved Aa Prestegaard i Lyngdal, ved densUdløb af Lundevandet.
