sumarlangt, adv. medens Sommeren varer; ferð á ek á höndum mér at fara vestrum haf, ok þœtti mér mikit undir, atþú ætti hlut í, at sú yrði farin sumar-langt Laxd. 21 (4632); nú hefir þú liðs-afla bæði meira ok betra en þá, okhefst nú aldregi af höndum þeim sumar-langt, en at vetri far þú o. s. v. Fm. XI, 5924; konungr kvazk eigi megaleyfa sumarlangt OHm. 5317.
