talhlýðinn, adj. let at besnakke, villig til atlade sig sige eller overtale; hann gerðistmaðr mikill ok styrkr, trúlyndr okúslœgr, nökkut talhlýðinn Nj. 67 (1026);með því at konungr var talhlýðinn okeigi djúpsær, en Fjölnir var bæði slœgrok íllgjarn, þá leggr konungr trúnaðá þat, er Fjölnir ló Jvk. 525; Hítd. 21;þat ætla ek, Eiríkr! at nú fari enn semoptar, at þú sér mjök talhlýðinn, okmant þat eigi lengi, er ílla er gjörttil þín Eg. 48 (984).
