tekja, f. 1) = taka 5; ábúð jarðar heim-ilar tekju Frost. 13, 11. 2) Afgiftsom man er berettiget til at oppebære;hann hafði fjölmenni mikit, en tekjurnorðan ór landi höfðu öngar til hanskomit Flat. II, 29135; gaf konungr son-um sínum í hverju þessu fylki halfartekjur við sik Fm. I, 713. VII, 223. 3) Bytte, = herfang; því at hann varfrœknari í orrostum en aðrir liðsmenn,þá gerðu þeir lögtekit, at hann skyldihafa kostgrip af hverri tekju Bp. I,3711; fóru þeir annat sumar í hernaðok féngu miklar tekjur fjár Vatsd. 7(1414).
