þermlast, v. r. (að) 1) savne, være uden,ikke have noget; þeir eigo at gjaldaþingfararkaup, er skulda hjóna hverthefir höfut kú skulda lausa - ok búsboluti alla þá er þat bú má eigi þerm-last Grg. I, 15917; þar er maðr þermlastsins gripar Grg. II, 1641; þær báðargjafar koma saman ór himni ofan íþenna heim til þess at engi hlutr þerm-lisk þær báðar Leif. 815. 2) afvige,fjerne sig fra, m. Dat. mál þat er þerm-last alþýðu orðtaki ok er skrýtt hirð-ligri málsnild SE. II, 182.
