(að) 1) opfatte, bedømme (Ord eller Ting) paa en vis Maade, dannesig en Mening derom; þessi orð Pálspostola skal með varygð fram bera okmeð réttri skilning (dvs. Forstaaelse), oktrúa eigi svá sem sumir vilja þokka,at hann vildi eilífliga í kvölum verafyrir várar sakir Post. 2719; ýmsa vegaþokka menn þat (= ýmsar getur hafamenn þar á Flat. I, 50414) Fm. III, 595;hvárra liðsmenn þokkuðu með sínumhöfðingja Fm.
