Navn og Værdighed som op-høier en over den almindelige BondesStand (idet han bliver Jarl, Hertug,Konge); er jarl lauk sínu máli, þá sagðiÞorgnýr -: þér girnizt at taka tignar-nöfn, en kunnit yðr öngan fögnuð eðrfyrirhyggju, þegar þér komit í nökk-urn vanda Flat. II, 8226. 11920; lét þatfylgja, at honum þótti hann bezt tilfallinn at bera tignarnafn í Noregi, efeigi er jarl til Flat.
