úheilagr, adj. uden den Hellighed, den Be- skyttelse mod Vold som Loven i Alm.giver et Sted, en Ting eller en Person;þá var völlrinn úheilagr af heiptar-blóði dvs. da havde det Blod som medAvindshaand var udgydt berøvet Marken dens hellighed, Landn. 2, 12 (9812); verðaþeir úhelgir við áverkum dvs. Loven be-skytter dem ikke længere mod Overfald, Legemsfornærmelse, Grg.
