úthorn, n. Udkant, Afkrog; guðs maðr Ma-charius elskaði einna mest allra feðraeyðimörkina, þvíat hann kannaði hanaalla í úthorn Heilag. II, 4705; því fóruvígslur hans skjótt fram, at þat funduyfirboðarnir, at hann hugleiddi sjalfrok gætti í úthorn þess vanda er fylgðihverri vígslu Bp. I, 918.
