vágskorinn, adj. med Indskjæringer som Søen, Bugte eller Vaage, gjør i Landet; kringla heimsins, sú er mannfolkitbyggir, er mjök vágskorin Yngl. 1(Hkr. 41); þat eru margar eyjar okstórar, ok svá mjök vágskornar, atþat er mælt, at þar muni fáir mennvita allar hafnir Eg. 25 (5116).
