vinnumaðr, m. 1) Person som mod Beta-ling udfører Arbeide for andre eller ideres Tjeneste, = verkmaðr. Landsl. 8,21 fg; vinnumenn kærðu, at þeir mættieigi vinna, ef þeir skyldi missa matarFlat. I, 5526; Grett. 101. 2) Sjauer,Person som i Kjøbstaden giver sig af medat transportere Varer fra Sted til andet,især op fra Fartøierne (hvilket kaldes atvinna). Rb. 2, 10; af saadanne skuldeder i Bergen være 200, Rb. 13, 10.
