vísendr, m. pl. forklares saaledes: vegandieða veganda sunr skal reiða alla bauganema hann hafi vísendr til, en þess erspurt hvárir svá heita, ok hér segir:ef lifir faðir veganda, sunr eða bróðir;föðurbróðir eða bróðursunr, brœðra-synir eða eptir brœðrasynir, þá heitaþeir vísendr allir; en fyrir því eru þeirsvá kallaðir at hvárr þeirra er víss tilat bœta þeirri bót er þeir standa í,ok þarf eigi vegandi eða sunr hansbœta fyrir þessa menn ef þeir eru tilFrost. 6, 2.
